On the 24th-26th of May Boorowa hosted our wonderful North Sydney Bushcare volunteers again. It was a massive weekend for all involved as we celebrated 25 years of this amazing partnership.
Our volunteers have planted approximately 5000 trees across 3 properties this weekend. Such an amazing effort.
We were also spoilt with a special celebratory cake for our 25 year anniversary and we would like to thank North Sydney Council Mayor Zoe Baker and Hilltops council Mayor Marg Roles for cutting the cake.
On Saturday evening we celebrated with a special dinner at the Boorowa Ex Services Club and were able to sign a new Memorandum Of Understanding between Boorowa Landcare, North Sydney Council and Hilltops Council. We are so excited to keep this wonderful partnership going. Thank you to the mayors, councillors and Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman for attending and helping us celebrate.
And as always special thank you to the entire North Sydney team and all the amazing volunteers. We can’t wait for next year!
