About Us

Passionate about working with the community to protect the environment where we farm, live, and play.

Originally established in 1989 to address the issue of dryland salinity on agricultural land. Boorowa Community Landcare Group currently hosts community based workshops and field days, volunteer tree planting weekends and a coordinated fox baiting program. We are involved in Superb Parrot monitoring and have worked with Hilltops Council to create ‘Red Hill Reserve’, to protect a valuable remnant of Box Gum Grassy Woodland within the town.

We welcome new volunteers and the knowledge and enthusiasm you can bring to our organisation and Landcare.
